Biography Wieteke van Bladel aka dj rossa
Wieteke – alias DJ Rossa – was born in the south-west of the Netherlands and moved to Amsterdam in 2001. In her early childhood she was listening to and collecting different kinds of music-styles. She developed her passion for House and Techno music from the Radio 538 Van Diepen’s Dance Departments DJ mixes. From there on, she started learning herself how to mix (vinyl) records.
At the late ninetees she got inspired by dj’s & producers like Dimitri, Erick E, Isis, Sébastian Léger, Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin and Jeff Mills. This funky deep sound of house, techhouse and techno is very hearable in her DJ-mixing sets too.
From the year 2000 she got her first gigs at clubs in the Netherlands. And in the holiday seasons she went for dj-gigs to Ibiza, Alicante, Tenerife and Malta. In 2004 she started combining the dj-work with the Bachelor of Communication study. After finishing that in 2008, she kept combining Communication jobs and Copywriting activities with dj-work. She has always kept this great passion for mixing electronic music.
Her vision for the future is to keep listening to and get inspired by big DJ-examples. And one day to finish producing her own track. From 2020 she started organizing Trinity Chronic parties, like Trinity Chronic Electronic. This company stands for timeless and reccurent. Connecting people from all over the world. By sharing and dancing on the finest quality of electronic music.
DJ Rossa has been playing for a big variety of Dutch clubs and DJ concepts like in below.
